We know Jonah for a supernatural yet minor detail, that a man was swallowed by a great fish. But the story of Jonah is much more than that. The greatest miracle of Jonah is not about a marine creature but about how God averted disaster and brought an entire city to repentance. It’s a story of how one racist man said “no” to God and how God utterly changed Jonah’s plans to reflect His sovereign purposes and love. In this series we explore the book of Jonah verse by verse.
