Youth Group

Who we are

Our Mission: To come alongside parents as a Youth Ministry to make disciples who represent Christ to every man, woman, and child.

Our Vision: To come alongside parents in the discipleship of their students. We desire to see students who seek to glorify God by having a relationship with Him through Jesus Christ, knowing Him through His word, living for Him through His Spirit, and corporately worshipping Him with His people, and engaged in His mission by making Him known through gospel proclamation.

Ages: 7th – 12th grade

What we do

Equip and Support Parents

A vital part of our mission statement is to “come alongside parents” as they disciple their students. What we do is supplement the ministry of the home. For that reason, we have put together a resource page for parents and guardians to aid them in their ministry to students.

Gather with and Disciple Students

  • Middle school 6-8th and High School 9-12th meet Sunday mornings to Study the Word together, pray, and fellowship.

  • We meet as a group of 7-12th grade students to study the Word together, sings songs of worship, fellowship, and spend time in small groups from 6:30-8:30 Tuesday nights.

  • We have gender and grade specific small groups for our students to participate in on Tuesday nights. This is for our students to get to know other students and specific leaders on a more personal level for accountability, prayer, and community. Each small group will try and keep in touch via technology and get together for their own activities, and to plan their special small group nights throughout the year.

    “What if I’m wrong?”

Have you ever asked yourself that question? There are times when we feel confident about our convictions. But there are other times, if we’re being honest, when we encounter doubts that leave us wondering if we got it all wrong. This has caused many to “deconstruct” their faith.

If you can’t give a “why” to your faith, you won’t be able to give a “why not” to your doubts. In other words, if you don’t have a Christianity anchored in what’s true, you will always be at the mercy of your doubts. That’s why we’re excited to announce this year’s REALITY Conference. Our theme is Seek and You Will Find.

We will equip students to navigate their doubts by seeking answers to their toughest questions. Because when you seek answers, you find truth. It’s time to examine the foundation of our faith because a strong faith requires a strong foundation.

Baptism

Baptism is a visible picture of God’s Grace. It is a physical representation of an inward, spiritual reality.

We desire that all Christians participate in the joy of publicly declaring their faith through baptism as an act of obedience to God for His glory. If you intend to take this vital first step of the Christian walk please read Baptism at Christ Church and fill out the baptism application. Please (as a parent/guardian) click the button below to submit a baptism application on behalf of your student. Pastor Chris Ben will reach out to you with more details.

We believe God when He tells us Romans 12 and 1 Corinthians 12 that every believer, including students, has a spiritual gift and is to use that gift to build up the Church! Click below to let us know where you/your student feels led to serve!
