Wellsboro Bible Church is elder led and congregationally affirmed

Our elders are entrusted by God and our congregation to lead, protect, and care for the members and ministry of WBC.

Our leadership team recognizes the authority of God, and realizes that we are shepherds who serve under the Chief Shepherd, Jesus Christ. We desire to devote ourselves to prayer and to the ministry of the Word. Our passion and goal is to equip the believers for the work of the ministry until we all attain maturity in the fullness of Christ.

As the senior pastor of WBC since 2012, TJ has a passion for the local church. Prior to his arrival at WBC he served as a church planter, Biblical counselor, discipleship pastor. and history teacher. He enjoys the outdoors (but only when it’s hot out) and is an avid photographer. TJ and his wife Katie have two daughters; Charlotte and Charity, and two sons; Hudson and Grant.

They have four children: Lucy, Cliff, Ruby, and Carson. Mike enjoys cutting trees, reading classic literature, and practicing Brazilian Jiu Jitsu.

Andy worked as an ER doctor for many years and has served in church leadership at WBC for about as long. He is known for his warm (and often absurd) sense of humor and gracious hospitality. He is married to Janet and they have seven grown children and fourteen grandchildren. He enjoys early morning walks in God’s creation and spending quality time with his family.

Clint joined the elder team in September 2018. He grew up on a dairy farm in Middlebury Center and now serves as a state representative. He and his wife, Lauren, are passionate about discipleship and parenting their four awesome kids; Colton, Anna, Calvin, and Chase. He also pretends to be a wood worker.

Bill has served as a deacon at WBC since 2009 and became an elder in 2015. He serves as a leader in WBC Youth alongside Ben and Andy. When he’s not working as an attorney he is involved in numerous athletic activities; most importantly, ultimate frisbee. He is also a culinary aficionado and loves to barbecue. He is known to travel far and wide to find the best sushi.

Deacons free up the elders and

serve the congregation

Each of our 5 deacons fills a specific role to help meet the needs of our ministry.

They are such excellent servants, that it’s hard to get a picture of them!
